Don't up foot in a bridal salon until you've read this checklist from WeddingChannel.com.
1. DO: Put on a petite makeup. Keep it simple; you're not going to a club, but a dusting of blush and a swipe of lip polish will make you look and feel better in every gown.
2. DO: Wear body shapers if you're planning to assume damage them on your wedding day.
Try: Seamless shapers, $60, Wacoal-America.com
3. DON'T: Stress over pronouncement the perfect bra until you've found your dress. You may need one that has special straps, a corset bodice, a low-plunging underwire - or you may not sine qua non to wear a bra at all.
Try: Corset by Carnival, $55, FreshPair.com
4. DO: Wear a curtain. It will really make you feel like a bride. If you're positive a curtain isn't for you, consider other hair accessories like hairpins, barrettes or a headband.
Try: Keshi nonpareil and rhinestone hairpins, $22 each, USABride.com
5. DON'T: Bring your own shoes, even if you positive the exact heel height you plan to wear on your wedding day. Trial gowns (which is what'll you'll be trying on at every salon) are created with extra fabric at the hem, so they appropriate won't skim the floor at your first appointment even if you're wearing 4-inch stilettos.
