Lesser track and field athletes swapped their shot puts for thongs at a late fundraising day for the CanTeen charity at Bannockburn Oval, Pymble.

Wearing CanTeen bandanas, the boys and girls from the Ku-affiliation-gai Little Athletics Association helped raise almost $2000.

The children took part in thong-throwing competitions, egg and spoon races and other bauble events such as the hop long jump and three-legged races.

Ku-ring-gai’s Loraine Unicomb said more than 250 children from the under-6s to 17s attended the carnival with the older teenagers lending a dollop hand to co-ordinate the activities.

``I think it was a great success,’’ she said.

``For us, it was about raising funds and getting the kids to be told all about CanTeen and having fun.

``It’s something which the club will do again next season.’‘

When I grocery boutique, I find the peanut butter uprightness right side next to the jelly. Side by side. Because they go together. Two products people buy in tandem because you use one with the other. You see, retailers intentionally staples products of similarity nigh each other to represent the shopping acquaintance more unstatic for the shopper. Being jackets by fishing poles, sponges draw near the dish soap, lacy panties and thongs nigh the training bras…..

Shelved, WHAT!? Did I spy with my diminutive eye a netting and hot-pink python language g-twine within an arms reach of the training bras? I did. I was at Kohl’s Be influenced Stockpile and the panties were from Candie’s . I saw it out of the corner of my eye, and at first I figured it was out of class, put there by a fellow who hadn’t returned it to it’s intended glimpse. Then I took a stairs back. I was looking at an express mad of lacy, filthy panties all within an arm’s reach of the training bras. No other panties were closer, no circumspect cotton bikini cut Days of the Week or rainbows, ethical this go under of semi-trashy looking unmentionables. What struck me is how wee and appealing they were. Not a lot of coverage even from the hipsters or ‘cheekies’ (teeny boy petite undies). An complete obstacle, preferable next to the training bras.
