LWR Parish Projects is supported by St. Michael’s WELCA and quilting groups. It involves the whip-round of materials which are then assembled into various types of kits and quilts, for dispensation by LWR. In 2011, LWR sent $12.6 million worth of quilts and kits to more than 623,000 people in 26 unheard-of countries. St. Michael’s contributed 29 personal care kits, 26 baby take charge of kits, 36 school kits and 41 quilts.
