Unity - Michael Warren Alfani, 59, of Alliance, was pronounced dead on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012 at his where it hurts.
He was born on June 2, 1952 in Alliance, and lived in the area his sound life.
Mr. Alfani was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and had served as an altar boy in his stripling. He attended St. Joseph Catholic School through grade 8, and was a 1970 graduate of Affinity High School.
Michael previously was employed at the former Persky's Grocery Lay away and at Lavery Chevrolet.
Mr. Alfani was an avid sports fan and was known for his great conception of sports facts.
The love of his life were his nieces and nephews, which he helped grief for as they were growing up. They have fond memories of the trips to the baseball games, and the pizza parties and mores spent with him just hanging out.
He is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlene and Charles Yohe of Wickliffe, Sandra Hoopes of Wichita, Kan., Linda and Richard Allison of Association, and Lucretia Hyett of Gurley, Ala.. He is also survived by nephews, Charles and David Yohe, Ronald Pettit; nieces, Lynne Ann Hoopingarner, Jolene Daniels, Heather Matthews, Stephanie Gilmore, and Nikki Pettit; superior nieces, Rebecca Dorsey, Diana Yohe; and great-nephews, Brandon Stanley, David Yohe, Shane Daniels, Michael Myers, and Kevin Hoopingarner.
