ABC Kinfolk’s new fashion series Jane By Design gives host to several cameos consisting of the biggest names in form today; Betsey Johnson, Patricia Field, Nanette Lepore, model Paulina Pariskova, publication editors in chief Amy Astley (Teen Vogue), Brandon Holley (Auspicious), Stefano Tonchi (W Magazine).

The new series premiered on January 3, with its intrigue giving a fashion-centric view of high school life-force for struggling teenager Jane Quimby (portrayed by Erica Dasher). The information revolves around her newfound (yet unexpected) job as a personal assistant for fashion creator Gray Chandler Murray (Andie MacDowell) who mistakes her for an adult and hires her for his hip manufacture house Donovan Decker. She is left with no other choice but to go through with the charade and learn to level her life as a student and fashion designer while trying to make ends intersect for her and her unemployed older brother after their parents died.

“We have great people from the way world,” series executive producer  April Blair  said during Monday’s ABC Kith and kin winter TV preview. “They’re very subtle cameos, so unless you be informed to look for them you wouldn’t notice. We just wanted to give it an authenticity, give the taste element an insider perspective.
