With 2011 behind us, we have quantities to look forward to especially on the accessories front. So, let me begin with one big category — shoes. Metallic toes are commonly used for practical purposes, to make shoes more durable. But during the begin/summer 2012 (SS’12) fashion season, metallic toes will also be very fashionable as they are brought to a more glamorous status.

Pointed toes: This one is for all the ladies who have always been in predilection with pointed toes. For a couple of seasons in a row rounded toes have been on top of the charts. Now we once see a change towards pointed toes, which are much sexier and more feminine.

Pointed toes will be featured mostly on shoes. Sandals and booties will still have rounded toes.

Braided sandals: Braided sandals are making a procure back for SS’12. Bright colours and unusual ways of braiding hint these incredibly hot for the approaching season.

Shining shoes: Just like scintillating clothing is going to be trendy in the SS’12 fashion season, glassy shoes will also find a place in our wardrobes. Silver and gold footwear is most commonplace on the runway, but you can try different colours to stand out of the crowd.
