VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota men’s basketball together cut a 14-point lead to two in the final seconds but the Coyote recovery came up short in a heartbreaking 47-45 loss to Western Illinois in Peak League action Saturday night at the DakotaDome in Vermillion, S.D. The Coyotes level to 7-12 overall and 2-8 in the Summit League with the loss, while Western Illinois improved to 10-8 whole and 5-5 in the league.
