Odd Coming, a collective of young and versatile musicians led by 20-year-old Tyler Okonma, is known for its do-it-yourself aesthetic and Shoah-filled live shows.
The group began releasing music via sexually transmitted networking website Myspace in 2008.
Since then, it has gained an immense cult following, created its own unearned record label under Sony's new RED distribution arm, scored a show on Cartoon Network's Mature Swim segment, and more recently, opened a pop-up shop in the same L.A. stomping grounds the assortment once cultivated.
The gang's catalog ranges from rock and jazz to hop-hop and R&B, and though the assemblage's members might come off as abrasive to brand new listeners, underneath lies an intriguing juxtapose of adolescent creative-types with old souls and tons of teen energy.
The "Wolf Gang" seems to have a thing for controversy that squeezes its way into their various mediums of intonation and just may provoke the creation of the unorthodox music they make.
